This North American Rescue Public Access Bleed Control Kit is designed to provide the necessary tools for first responders and bystanders to address fatal bleeding in public areas. It includes the QuikLitter® to help evacuate wounded individuals and a public access bleed control kit with the essential items needed to stop severe bleeding.
NAR Public Access Bleeding Control (PABC) Stations are available in 4 configurations: Basic, Intermediate, Advanced, and Advanced BCD.
BASIC
Includes 5 complete ruggedized vacuum sealed pouches containing life saving bleeding control equipment such as tourniquets, pressure dressings and gauze bandages to put into the hands of the public to help control bleeding and save lives. It also includes the NAR Responder QuikLitter™ for moving injured casualties.
INTERMEDIATE
Includes all equipment found in the Basic PABC Station with each of the 5 complete ruggedized vacuum sealed pouches also containing the added capability of treating penetrating chest wounds with the HyFin® Vent Compact Chest Seal Twin Pack (for entrance and exit wounds).
ADVANCED / ADVANCED BCD:
Includes all equipment found in the Intermediate PABC Station with each of the 5 complete ruggedized vacuum sealed pouches also containing the added capability of a hemostatic dressing to enhance blood clotting abilities for faster bleeding control.
