Baseline® Fingertip pulse oximeter provides a non-invasive measure of the pulse of the oxygenation of the blood known as SP02. This vital is used as an indicator of respiratory and circulatory system performance. 

SAO2 versus SPO2

Blood oxygen saturation (SAO2) indicates the percent (0-100%) of hemoglobin in arterial blood that are oxygen saturated. SpO2 is simply the SaO2 measurement measured via the pulse oximetry method.
