The Life/form® Infant Arm is a durable and realistic synthetic model of an infant's arm with exposed veins and arteries. The model is a good teaching tool for IV insertion, catheterization, peripheral intravenous therapy, etc. The hand has a flat base that allows it to stand independently, and the bifurcated middle finger provides excellent visibility of the median nerve. With a unique, ultra-thin synthetic skin and correspondingly small lumen and thin walls, rubber tubing of the hand's dorsal venous arch and the cephalic and basilic veins are accessible.
