The Blue Phantom full torso model offers a realistic platform for practicing core needle biopsies or needle aspirations on an anatomically accurate adult male torso. The patented Simulex tissue and detailed kidney anatomy, learners can refine their ultrasound imaging and procedural skills. This includes using ultrasound controls, positioning and moving the transducer, identifying kidney structures and ribs, and accurately targeting the renal biopsy site. The model's kidneys feature the renal cortex, medulla, and major/minor calyces. Thanks to the self-healing properties of the Simulex tissue, the model supports over 1,000 punctures with 18-21 gauge needles.
